Fundación Pachaysana Press Kit
JUNE 2025
As a consultant for the International Business for Bruins at UCLA, I created a press kit for Fundación Pachaysana, an Ecuadorian non-profit organization dedicated to re-storying identities & restoring territories with Indigenous communities. This Press Kit goes into depth on Pachaysana's Carbon On-Setting Program and how various universities can work to promote sustainability.

Exploring how ideas become experiences through branding, storytelling, and design systems
1. Pachaysana Press Kit (IBB project)
Problem: Fundación Pachaysana needed a clear, compelling way to communicate its environmental and social impact to potential partners and students, but their messaging was fragmented and overly complex.
Process: Researched international education and sustainability programs, conducted interviews with stakeholders, and synthesized insights into key themes. Applied storytelling techniques to frame their mission in a more engaging way.
Solution: Designed a press kit highlighting environmental, social, and philanthropic impact, with narratives tailored for different audiences (students, universities, partners).
Result: Delivered a professional communications tool that clarified Pachaysana’s value proposition and helped strengthen its positioning in study abroad and international education spaces.
2. C10 Labs – Social Media + Messaging for Biotech Startup
Problem: A biotech startup developing AI tools for pathogen tracking in animal farms needed to communicate highly technical science to non-technical stakeholders (investors, farmers, partners).
Process: Collaborated with scientists to understand complex sequencing technology, identified communication gaps, and brainstormed analogies and narratives to simplify the message.
Solution: Created social media content and messaging frameworks that translated technical details into relatable, human-centered stories.
Result: Strengthened the startup’s brand presence and improved accessibility of their work, making it easier to engage with both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
3. Skai (AI Beauty Startup Idea)
Problem: Consumers face overwhelming choices in beauty and skincare, with little personalization — leading to wasted time, money, and frustration.
Process: Conducted user research to understand pain points around skincare and makeup shopping. Mapped customer journeys and applied design thinking to brainstorm solutions that integrate AI analysis.
Solution: Developed the concept for Skai, a platform that uses AI facial scanning to analyze skin and recommend tailored products, with potential extensions to jewelry and style.
Result: Built an early-stage concept and prototype that highlighted the market opportunity, clarified the user value proposition, and set a foundation for future product development.
4. Netflix x Bain Case Competition
Problem: Netflix was facing stagnation in certain market segments and needed strategies to strengthen customer retention and global growth.
Process: Collaborated with a team to analyze industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics. Applied structured consulting frameworks to generate hypotheses and test ideas.
Solution: Proposed a set of actionable strategies, including product innovations and market expansion approaches, backed by data-driven insights.
Result: Advanced through the competition with a polished presentation that showcased both business acumen and creative problem-solving, gaining recognition for strategic thinking.
