DoorDash Sustainability Program
JAN 2025
As a Design Intern for UConsulting, I worked on a project for DoorDash. Our goal was to conduct user research on the feasibility of a reusable packaging program to showcase the brand as sustainable and environmentally-focused. After many months of researching, testing, conducting surveys and focus groups, creating mock-ups, and working alongside the professionals at Doordash, I created high-fidelity visuals for the integration of DishDash, the program I coined to represent the utilization of actual dishes or packages rather than simple disposable plastic with meals.
My design process and research included:
Market trends in sustainable food services, highlighting emerging opportunities DoorDash could explore
University student focus groups, surveying thousands of students at UCLA and other schools to see how willing certain groups of people would be toward using reusable packages for their food deliveries and what incentives they'd need to use it.
High-potential areas for DoorDash, outlining 2–4 key converged experiences to explore further in addition to their original idea
